Job#: 3053042 Job Description: Generative AI Engineer Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid) Employment Type: Contract Contract Duration: 12 Months Role Overview We are seeking an AI Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-powered automation. This role will focus on designing, developing, and implementing enterprise AI solutions. The position involves leveraging Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI services, and modern AI technologies to enhance productivity, automate business processes, and drive innovation. Required Qualifications Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred. Experience: Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, cloud engineering, or automation. This includes 2+ years of experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or Microsoft Copilot technologies and a background in delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions in complex environments. Technical Skills: • Microsoft 365 Copilot • Microsoft Copilot Studio • Azure OpenAI Services • Azure AI Foundry / Azure AI Studio • Prompt Engineering • Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) • AI Agents and Agentic Workflows • Java or JavaScript • REST APIs and AI Integrations • Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) • Git, CI/CD, DevOps Practices • Azure Cloud Services • Data Analytics and AI Monitoring AI & Machine Learning Knowledge: • Large Language Models (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama) • Natural Language Processing (NLP) • Vector Databases • Embeddings and Semantic Search • Fine-Tuning and Model Evaluation • Responsible AI and AI Governance • Prompt Engineering Best Practices Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and containers. • Experience implementing AI solutions in highly regulated environments. • Knowledge of AI security, model risk management, and governance frameworks.
