AVP AI Strategy and Transformation

W2 only- No C2C, 1099 or sponsorship Assistant Vice President, AI Strategy & Transformation Healthcare Experience Required We are seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President of AI Strategy & Transformation to lead enterprise-wide AI strategy, governance, and execution within a healthcare organization. This highly visible leadership role will drive AI initiatives that deliver measurable clinical, operational, and financial outcomes while ensuring compliance, patient safety, and responsible AI practices. Key Responsibilities • Define and execute the enterprise AI roadmap and investment strategy. • Lead AI governance, portfolio management, and prioritization of AI initiatives. • Partner with executive, clinical, operational, and technology leaders to identify high-impact AI opportunities. • Establish ROI frameworks and track business value across AI programs. • Oversee AI vendor evaluations, contracts, and implementation strategies. • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, governance, and clinical safety requirements. • Drive change management, AI adoption, and organizational AI maturity. • Lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across the enterprise. Qualifications • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale business transformation initiatives. • 5+ years of enterprise-level program, strategy, or transformation leadership. • Experience managing governance frameworks, complex portfolios, and executive stakeholder groups. • Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, generative AI, predictive analytics, and related technologies. • Proven ability to deliver measurable business outcomes through strategy and execution. • Healthcare industry experience is required. • Experience working within regulated environments and managing compliance-focused initiatives. • Strong leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.
