Job Title: Agentic AI Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC Work Arrangement: 3 day in office 2 day work from home Client Industry: Banking Duration: 12 -18 months Contract Schedule: Monday to Friday About the Role Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Agentic AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in developing LLM-based workflows and autonomous AI agents. The ideal candidate will have solid Python development skills and experience with agent frameworks such as Lang Graph, Lang Chain, AutoGen, or CrewAI. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing intelligent, stateful, and conditional workflows that can make decisions, interact with enterprise systems, and automate approval processes. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy Agentic AI solutions using LLMs and agent frameworks. • Build autonomous and semi-autonomous agents capable of decision-making, task execution, and workflow orchestration. • Develop LLM-based workflows for business and approval processes. • Implement stateful and conditional workflows using LangGraph or similar frameworks. • Develop backend services and business logic using Python. • Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications and approval systems through REST APIs and microservices. • Implement tool/function calling and enable agents to interact with external systems. • Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand workflow requirements and translate them into AI-driven solutions. • Test, troubleshoot, and optimize agent behavior, workflow execution, and application performance. • Follow best practices for scalable, maintainable, and secure AI application development. Required Skills & Experience • Hands-on experience with Agentic AI / LLM-based workflow development. • Experience building autonomous or semi-autonomous decision-making agents. • Strong proficiency in Python. • Experience with at least one AI agent framework such as: • Lang Graph • Lang Chain • AutoGen • CrewAI • Similar agent orchestration frameworks • Strong experience with REST APIs and backend development. • Experience integrating applications through APIs/microservices. • Understanding of LLM concepts, prompt engineering, tool/function calling, and agent orchestration. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Compensation Hourly Rate: 68$-70$ per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
