This role is responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing scalable automation and AI-driven capabilities that streamline engineering workflows, reduce manual effort, improve platform reliability, and accelerate delivery outcomes. The engineer develops reusable automation frameworks, intelligent workflow patterns, deployment automation, AI-enabled platform capabilities, governance validation, and developer enablement capabilities that support secure, compliant, and scalable platform operations. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and business stakeholders, this role leverages automation, generative AI, observability, and platform engineering best practices to enhance user experiences, strengthen controls, improve operational efficiency, and drive continuous innovation across the ServiceNow platform. Success is measured through increased automation adoption, measurable productivity gains, improved platform performance and reliability, stronger governance adherence, reduced delivery risk, and accelerated realization of business value.
