Job Title: .NET Developer with Python Location: Charlotte, NC Employment Type: Full-Time Work Arrangement: On-site / Hybrid Experience: 6+ years Job Description We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with Python to join our software engineering team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, SQL Server, and Python. The developer will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable applications and RESTful APIs. Experience integrating Python-based automation, AI/ML services, or data-processing solutions with .NET applications is highly desirable. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core. • Develop secure and scalable REST APIs and microservices. • Write Python scripts and services for automation, data processing, integrations, and AI/ML use cases. • Integrate Python applications/services with .NET-based enterprise applications. • Work with SQL Server, stored procedures, Entity Framework, and database optimization. • Develop and consume RESTful APIs and third-party services. • Participate in application architecture, coding, testing, debugging, and production support. • Implement unit and integration testing and maintain high-quality code. • Work with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices. • Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other developers. • Troubleshoot application performance, production issues, and integration problems. • Deploy applications to Azure or other cloud environments. Required Skills • 6+ years of professional software development experience. • Strong experience with C#, .NET / .NET Core, ASP.NET Core. • Strong Python programming experience. • Experience developing REST APIs and microservices. • Strong SQL Server and database-development experience. • Knowledge of Entity Framework / EF Core and LINQ. • Experience with Git and CI/CD. • Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills • Azure / AWS cloud experience. • Experience with Python AI/ML libraries or frameworks. • Experience with Azure AI Services or OpenAI APIs. • Experience with chatbots, NLP, generative AI, or machine-learning integrations. • Docker and Kubernetes. • Angular, React, or Blazor. • Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging technologies. • PowerShell or Python automation. • Knowledge of application security, OAuth, and JWT. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
