Our challenge: We are seeking highly skilled GenAI Engineers with hands-on expertise in Devin AI and Claude Code to join a fast-growing AI-assisted software engineering initiative. This is not a traditional Software Engineer or AI Developer role. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leveraging AI coding agents to accelerate software delivery, automate development workflows, improve engineering productivity, and create reusable AI engineering assets.The role requires individuals who can effectively collaborate with AI agents throughout the software development lifecycle, from planning and coding to testing, debugging, documentation, and modernization efforts. Additional Information *The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $105k - $115k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade software solutions in collaboration with engineering teams. Utilize Devin AI and Claude Code to accelerate software development, debugging, code reviews, testing, documentation, and application modernization initiatives. • Create, maintain, and optimize reusable AI engineering assets, including:Devin Playbooks • Knowledge Assets • CLAUDE.md files • Skills • Hooks • Workflow Templates Support repository onboarding and AI workflow standardization across engineering teams. Partner with architects, product owners, and developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Ensure AI-generated code complies with engineering standards, security requirements, coding best practices, and regulatory guidelines. Continuously evaluate and optimize AI-assisted development workflows to enhance software delivery efficiency. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive development activities and improve developer productivity. Contribute to organizational AI engineering standards, best practices, and governance frameworks. Mentor and educate development teams on effective usage of AI-powered engineering tools Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. • Strong software engineering and application development experience. • Hands-on experience with Devin AI and Claude Code in real-world software development environments. • Experience working with AI-assisted coding tools such as:Devin AI • Claude Code • GitHub Copilot • Cursor • Comparable AI development platforms • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. • Experience with modern development practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality frameworks. • Ability to effectively collaborate with AI agents for planning, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities. • Strong programming and software delivery capabilities across modern technology stacks. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
