Job Title: Automation Lead Location: Onsite in Charlotte, NC Duration: 6+ Months Contract Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Years of experience: • Strong technical skillset with minimum 12+ yrs. experience in test automation across the Tech stack – Web/middleware/database. • Experience in UI, Web services and mobile automation. • Experience in building custom solutions across Test life cycle – Design/Develop/Test. • Perform continuous research in Market Trends, arrange mind share sessions with client on new solutions. • Provide automation thought leadership and implement new solutions and framework. • Must have 5+ yrs. programming skills in Java, experience in developing new solutions & build/enhance test automation frameworks. • Mentor the team, build new solutions. • Experience in building engineering metrics and building root cause analysis reports. • Lead the team, adopt to DevOps culture, build scalable test automation suite with continuous integration/testing for applications. What are the top skills required for this role? • 12+ yrs. of QE and Test automation hands-on experience. • Tech stack: • Strong knowledge on Java, Jscript • Good knowledge in Python • Strong knowledge Test automation engine – Selenium, Playwright • Strong knowledge in API – REST Assured or other frameworks • CI & build tools - Cucumber, Jenkins, Github, Mavens • Experience in building new Framework & solid understanding of Angular frameworks, spring boot micro-services & Mule gateway. • Exposure to GenAI – Copilot or other LLM’s. • Hands on experience on test management tools like Rally or other platform tools. • Experience in custom solutions like dashboard to report on engineering metrics, program health. • Ability to lead automation team and drive client solutions and proposals. • Multi location team handling capabilities.
