AI Engineer – Generative AI / RAG / AI Agents 📍 Location: Charlotte, NC 💼 Employment Type: Full-time We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to build and deploy enterprise-grade AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions. This is a highly hands-on role with approximately 70% Individual Contributor and 30% Technical Leadership, ideal for someone who can take AI solutions from concept to production while also providing technical guidance to engineering teams. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop production-scale Generative AI, RAG, and AI Agent solutions • Build LLM-powered applications using OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama, and AWS Bedrock • Develop scalable APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI • Build cloud-native AI applications and MLOps/CI/CD pipelines on AWS • Work with LangChain, LangGraph, semantic search, and prompt engineering • Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD • Implement infrastructure using Terraform / CloudFormation • Provide architectural guidance, conduct design reviews, and mentor engineers Required Skills • 15+ years of software engineering experience preferred • 5+ years of hands-on AI/ML/Generative AI experience • Strong Python development skills • Production experience with RAG and AI Agents • Experience with LangChain / LangGraph • Experience with AWS / AWS Bedrock / SageMaker • Strong experience with FastAPI, REST APIs, and microservices • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD • Strong system design and cloud architecture skills • Claude CLI/Terminal experience is highly relevant Nice to Have • Databricks, PySpark, Snowflake, Kafka, Airflow, Delta Lake • Terraform / CloudFormation • Java, Scala, SQL • Financial Services, Banking, Payments, Risk Analytics, or Regulatory Reporting experience If you're passionate about building enterprise GenAI solutions and enjoy a hands-on engineering role with technical leadership opportunities, we'd love to hear from you. 📩 Interested?
