AI Compute Trading Systems IT Team Leader

AI Compute MarketsSeeking a hands-on technology leader for a Charlotte-based software development team responsible for our electronic trading platform for AI compute forwards and swaps. This person will oversee the architecture and development of the trading system, its integration with collateral management systems, and APIs that enable counterparties to connect to and trade on the platform. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated builder who can translate business and market requirements into secure, scalable production systems. They will establish an AI-enabled development environment and lead the team in using AI throughout software design, coding, testing, documentation, and operations. Qualifications• Experience leading software development teams building capital-markets or electronic-trading platforms • Strong knowledge of swaps, derivatives, trade lifecycles, collateral management, risk controls, and API integrations • Hands-on understanding of trading-system architecture, security, reliability, and production operations • Demonstrated ability to recruit, manage, and motivate high-performing engineers • Practical experience using AI to accelerate software development while maintaining appropriate testing and controls • Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and comfortable building new systems in a fast-moving startup environment • Excited to help create the market infrastructure for AI compute—an important new derivatives and commodity market • Must live and work in Charlotte, North Carolina, and lead the team from the Charlotte office
