AI Architecture Specialist

Duration: 12+ months Compensation: OPEN Location: Charlotte, NC (on-site 3-4/week) We are seeking a AI Architecture Specialist to lead the design and delivery of enterprise AI solutions. You will define architecture standards, shape the AI roadmap, and build scalable applications using machine learning, generative AI, and Anthropic Claude. Responsibilities:• Lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise AI, ML, and generative AI solutions. • Design applications using Claude APIs, advanced prompting, tool use, and AI agents. • Architect RAG solutions, vector search, intelligent automation, and multi-model integrations. • Design scalable ML pipelines for data ingestion, training, deployment, and monitoring. • Build intelligent backend services using Java and Python. • Establish AI governance, security, explainability, and responsible-AI practices. • Evaluate emerging technologies and lead proofs of concept. • Partner with business and technology leaders to define AI strategy and roadmaps. • Identify architectural risks, technical debt, and security concerns. • Mentor team members and support client-facing technical discussions. Qualifications:• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field. • Six or more years of AI/ML architecture and software engineering experience. • Strong Java and Python expertise. • Experience designing and deploying production-grade ML systems. • Deep knowledge of LLMs, NLP, transformer architectures, and Anthropic Claude. • Hands-on experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI-agent frameworks. • Experience with AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, or Google Vertex AI. • Knowledge of MLOps, AI observability, governance, security, privacy, and compliance. • Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills. • Financial-services or personal loan-management experience is preferred. Nice to Have:• Experience working in regulated industries. • Familiarity with multimodal AI, document intelligence, or edge AI. • Relevant AI, cloud, or architecture certifications. • Contributions to research, technical publications, or open-source projects.    26-00877
